I am simply thrilled with my new amana refrigerator.Though I bought the simplest of models without any bells and whistles, this one works more than fine. Food is kept at stable temperatures and I have more than enough storage. It's easy to move so I can clean behind the space and it fits perfectly in my kitchen.
Amana, you have a customer for life.

Unfortunately, I had to buy this refrigerator as a result of the old one giving out. And because of the small town we live in, I didn't have many choices in a fridge that I could afford. This refrigerator has been excellent, so far so good and does everything I need.

We needed a backup refrigerator for the garage. Not big but enough to hold extra for and beverages. The Amana we purchased fit the bill to a tee and the price was amazingly low for such a great refrigerator.

I purchased this refrigerator about a month ago, since my old fridge started gurgling.
For years I have had the old metal top freezer/ refrigerator which had to be at least 25 years old, that caked with ice monthly.Which sometimes it would be inches thick,and I did have to take a hammer to it once in awhile, plus my vegetables would freeze all the time, so I could not stock up on fresh foods. It is so nice to have self defrost. the Inside is huge for only being 28 ". Same with the freezer, plenty of room for monthly storage. I will be putting Amana on my top brand list for other appliances, the temperature settings are perfect and it is energy saving, a big plus.I did not purchase any extra accessories due to the refrigerator is perfect for what I need. I love it!

My refrigerator works well but has a significant annoyance. If I remove an item from inside and let the door close, then try to re-open the door within several seconds, the door won't open due to suction inside. WHAT A PAIN!!!

We bought this refrigerator when our larger refrigerator died on a Saturday. It worked so well until we could get a new larger refrigerator delivered that we are keeping it. Great value. Always liked Amana products.

We recently purchased this refrigerator and it's been great! Works great and its roomy enough without excess room. I was really concerned with having a fridge that was too large because I didnt want to waste energy for space that wasnt being used. This size has been perfect for us (two adults, four children). Easy to clean and care for. Plenty of freezer space. Refrigerator section isn't crowded. I'd highly recommend!

We like our new Amana refrigerator. The design is very nice. When you open the door you can see practically everything without having to hunt for it. We have also noticed the electric bill went down a little bit, so this is an energy-efficient refrigerator. Based on this purchase I would buy another Amanda product.

I bought this refrigerator several weeks ago when my old refrigerator failed. I needed a refrigerator narrow enough for its space, but large enough for a single person who cooks. I like the recessed handles inside the doors. I do not like the fact that a shelf for the freezer compartment is not provided. I went out yesterday and purchased a 24 inch wide wire shelf at my local hardware store. It just fit in the slots provided. After I loaded up the refrigerator and freezer, it took several days to get the right balance of temps in the freezer and refrigerator. One must be careful not to obstruct the vents on the floor of the freezer otherwise cold air to the fridge in impeded. Every new appliance requires get used to and I am happy with my purchase. It fulfills my needs in a price range I can afford.

I had to replace my refrigerator at short notice in early May. As I plan to put my apartment on the market in the near future, I was reluctant to make a major investment and chose the 14 cu ft Amana with top freezer compartment, which fits into the space available. The most significant feature is the tightness of the doors. Because of the short time I've used the refrigerator, I haven't been able to assess any potential savings in electricity yet.

I bought this 2 months ago... and I did not receive a vent cover for the bottom of the outside of the bottom of the refridgerator. Second... the doors flop open Close the bottom & gently and freezer swings open. Very touchy. Love the shelves and bottom trays

Overall I ike the fridge. It was inexpensive, and replaced a secondary fridge. The only issue is that the shelf for the freezer is only about 1/3 the size of the freezer. This makes it difficult to store a lot of stuff in the freezer as everything has to be stacked high. I tried to find a full size shelf online, but was unsuccessful.

This is the most spacious and good use of space in a refrigerator that I have ever had. Too, I really like the freezer area with lots of room and 2 drawers and having ice for filling many items or large things available in a bin easy to get to for use.

Refrigerator fits great in our cottage and is doing a good job. Freezer has a small wire shelf, I think a place to keep your ice tray. There are slots to add a shelf, but you can't order a shelf for it, so storing food in the freezer is just pile it in the open cavity. A optional shelf would be great.

This is our "overflow" refrigerator in the garage. I raise chickens for eggs and this is our storage frig. Egg customers come by, pick up their eggs- identified by a clothespin, and leave their money in the can on top. So far, the Amana has served us well.

This refrigerator is versatile, stylish and everything I thought it would be. I got the black model and it looks beautiful in our downstairs bar area complimenting the metal cupboards and surrounding area. We've used it for what you'd expect, keeping beverages and food cold. However, we also used it to keep wedding flowers cool until they could be used for the wedding!

I bought this refrigerator for my Staff room. It's been almost a full year and I have yet to find any problem. With consistant opening and closing from all the staffs, I have yet to touch the original temp. setting and there is no ice built up in my freezer. I pick this refrigerator because it had perfect square walls inside panels; nothing sticking out and option to put in Ice Maker if I needed for the staffs in the Summer. I like it!

It seems to work okay. Some quart-size water bottles have trouble standing upright on wire shelves, so you have to stick them in the door.
