Overall, the unit is good and runs well. While some might complain about storage capacity, the unit is well designed for a 15-inch width. One design suggestion: it might be better to have more than one row have a taller height; it depends on whether you are going to have more than a few large bottles.
The sliding shelves could slide a bit more easily than they do. However, since we don't access it every day, their performance is oaky for us. If you were to use a small wine cooler like this every day or several times a day, you'd might want to find evaluate other options as well.
Very disappointed that in slightly more than a year, the door seal has failed. It seems like this should not be something that has an issue. With all the other refrigerators with magnetic door seals under the Whirlpool brand, it's surprising a door seal would be the first component to fail. You would think it would something related to its size. For now, we've had to empty the wine cooler and turn it off, since there is no way to keep it closed right now.

We have had one of these well over a year and it works great. It is so much better than less expensive brands we have previously purchased. We plan on purchasing another for a new installation. It is however relatively expensive!

This wine cooler is okay but t can be difficult to get even normal size bottles in and out. I don't see anywhere that the shelf height can be adjusted. I probably would not recommend this unit because of this problem.

Great looking fridge and does what you would expect. After 6 months of use, I don't notice the low noise level. When the description says up to 34 bottles, know that getting to 34 is extremely unlikely unless you only drink dessert wines. Expect to fit up to 4 Cabernet bottles on each rack and no more than 3 Syrah/Merlot bottles (short and fat) per rack, plus 3 bottles sitting on the bottom level. I can make about 24 bottles fit at any given time.

I purchased this a month ago for a new dry bar area. The unit is very well made, is visually appealing, quiet, and holds the perfect quantity of wine. Also it is very easy to switch the opening direction. I would recommend this unit to any wine enthusiast.

We have been back in our house for 2 months post Hurricane Harvey flood remodel. This wine cooler is in our new island. I love it, the look is sleek. The purple light inside is subtly gorgeous. No sound at all, runs very quiet.

Delivery was fantastic and very professional.I changed the opening door to a left hand opening and it was surprisingly easy.I would recommend a YouTube Video on that for all to enjoy.I also would like the temperature to get colder 33F would be ideal for me.

Love the look of this wine fridge. Nice accent with the optional stay on light. Racks were a little difficult to slide when I first started using it, but has eased up a bit with use. Everyone that has visited compliments on the look of this wine fridge. Keeps the wines nice and cold just like I want.

Purchased omthis unit 3 months ago when we were doing whole house gut and we were looking for some nice appliance to fill in space with. Installation is a breeze if layout of openings is correct and you have electrical outlet available. Chiller is quiet and keeps wines at desired temperature. Finish on it is fingerprint resistant. Light inside is nice and blue either stays on all the time or just when you open your door- your choice. Temp goes down to 41F. Great addition to your kitchen or bar.

Great undercounter small wine cooler. Stays at temperatures set. Only issue is compressor is louder than I like. This is mitigated by the fact that it does not run often enough to be too bothersome.

When we bought our housed, it had an undercounted trash compactor, which I'm sure was great before we started recycling most trash. Anyway, I bought this unit to replace the compactor. This fit perfectly and works well. It is nice and quiet. It has a really cool blue interior light. The light comes on when the door is open, or you can manually turn it on and it will stay on for 10 minutes. I only wish it would stay on all the time it looks so cool!

Our trash compactor died after 20 years of service. We understand that wine refrigerators are tops on home buyer lists. So, for our own pleasure and for future resale we chose to replace the compactor with this fridge which is a perfect fit and it looks great . My husband couldn't be happier. I bought this 15" wine cooler for a new home construction. It sat in storage for 4 weeks until my home was completed. I opened the container, plugged it in and learned that everything works great, except there is no coolant. Either it has a leak or it was never charged. The condenser works, the fan works, the display works, yet it is never cooler than room temperature. I could never get anyone from Whirlpool by phone, so after online contact I was instructed to schedule a service call for evaluation. It has been taken away for repairs--and never has even held a bottle of wine! Needless to say, this has been frustrating and disappointing. I am not impressed

HELP - had this installed this at 11 today and got home at 4 to non-stop beeping! Called Whirlpool customer service and lady was pleasant but useless - wanted to schedule a technician. Neighbor saw a black push button at the bottom of the unit, which when pushed, stops the beeping for literally about 60 seconds. Hope this is something silly with the install, but right now, i HATE this unit & wish i had my old under-counter fridge back!!

This is a great fridge with lots of space. Perfect for wine. We've been using it for beer too. My husband likes beer really cold and this fridge doesn't quite get light beer cold enough but is great for darker beer.

We opted to not replace our 15" ice maker and found this fabulous wine cabinet to take its place. The capacity is amazing (30 staggered slots plus bottom shelf) and the temperature controls are spot on. Great value!

The cooler is an under counter unit (originally a compactor space). We replaced an inferior unit. What a difference. The unit is only a few weeks old and is working as designed and looks fantastic. The wine is chilled and and we are happy :) The next step is to replace the kitchen around.

Looks nearly as good as high end brands and does a good job keeping the wine cool. But the shelves are flimsy and get off the track very easily when you pull them out to get a bottle out. For that reason, I am concerned that may end up being a problem in the long run.

Bought this as a replacement for a malfunctionning wine cellar (other brand). The form factor is nice and what I was looking for as I didn't have a lot of space. It's also not too noisy, which was a major concern as it is in the open dining/living room area. My previous wince fridge had temperature fluctuation problems, so this is something I was sensitive to. Two design aspects ARE COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE: 1- the LCD displays ONLY the temperature SETTING, NOT THE ACTUAL TEMPERATURE (only a careful read of the manual will reveal this, or actually trying it, which is impossible if they don't have one at the store and/or you are ordering online). This seems like a step backwards from a feature I've taken for granted for years. 2- THE LCD TEMPERATURE SETTING IS NOT VISIBLE WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED. Never occurred to me to have to confirm this, again, seemed like a no brainer. So if I want to see the actual temperature, I will have to buy a seperate battery powered thermometer and install it within the fridge, which is just plain ridiculous. This means I also have no idea if the temperature fluctuates in this one and what the actual temperature of my wine bottles actually is. I also don't see why a fridge that is a quarter of the size of a regular one and hardly has to work (needs to keep my red wine between 10C and 15C as opposed to something like 4C in a regular fridge) costs about as much as a regular frige, but that's not just whirlpool, the average price of these things on the market seems easily in the 1500$-2000$ range (although capacity may increase/vary). Overall, I was expecting much,much better and ended up making sacrifices for the lower price I never imagined (or knew) I would have to make.

You mostly want this to fit as many bottles as it says and keep them at the temperature you select, consistently. It keeps temperature exactly right and it looks great. But today wine makers use skinny bottles, regular bottle and slightly shorter, slightly fatter bottles. The room between shelves doesn't do well with some of the shorter bottles, so you lose a shelf. Champagne bottles will cost you some more shelves. But, take all that into consideration when you choose your size unit and you will be very pleased with it.
